An introduction to gate training and ski racing, in a non competitive, fun team format. Emphasis on skill development for GS and Slalom technique and developing coordination, awareness, agility and balance.
No travel required. No team uniform

Nancy Greene League:

Entry level Racing program in a team format, focusing on technical ski racing skills, through free skiing and gate training (Slalom and GS). Team performance is scored on the top times of both male and female athletes. Plenty of experimentation and creativity in a variety of skiing conditions.

Goal: To develop the athlete's self-concept, contribution to team performance and to introduce aerobic fitness and nutrition.

Ages: 7 to 10

Saturdays and Sundays: 9-11am  plus  12-2pm

Mackenzie League:

For graduates of the Nancy Greene League or first time Racers.

Competitive Ski Racing in a team format with an introduction to individual training.
Introduction to the more technical skills and how they are used in racing. Strategies and tactics regarding speed, agility, and line interpretation are also developed.

Goal: To develop the athlete’s values and attitudes toward sports; and to develop aerobic and anaerobic capacities

K1: Ages 11 to 12

K2: Ages 13 to 14

Saturdays and Sundays: 9-11am  plus  12-2pm

Hershey League:

Hershey Alpine League is for Racers between the ages of 13 to 19 who may not wish to participate in Individual Racing. These racers, while still very talented, prefer a team atmosphere or are not interested in the commitment level required in K2 & J series racing. Includes several different competitions in GS and slalom, as well as semi finals and finals.
Skiers with little or no racing experience are welcome.
